Recent updates focus on faster time to value, safer reversals, and clearer paths from insight to action.

Remediation Rollback to Restore Changes Safely

If a remediation has side effects, CSRM can revert it. The flow selects resources, schedules the job, then routes through review and consent. Admins can approve directly. Others create the task, and the system sends it for approval. Job status confirms results.

  • Immediate or scheduled rollback, followed by consent and approval when needed.
  • Job status displays success after the system reverts to the original state.

In-Context AI That Moves from Plan to Action

Three buttons sit beside the analysis summary. Strategy opens a panel with a structured view of the issue and guidance on how to address it. Action connects that guidance to a workflow so teams can proceed without hunting through menus. The third button provides references for added context.

Single Page Onboarding with First Scan

Admins can finish onboarding, then launch the first scan without jumping between sections in AWS or Azure. The process starts with onboarding, followed by an option to begin scanning from the same interface.

Pause and Resume Scanning When Plans Change

Server reboots or updates no longer force a restart. Teams can pause a scheduled scan, then resume from the same point, or pause and resume all scans with one control.

Credential Checks That Prevent Wasted Runs

Scanning now validates stored credentials in AWS and Azure. Automatic checks run after onboarding, and a manual control triggers validation on demand. Warnings appear for invalid credentials, and teams can remove a cloud profile during validation.

Region selection and ongoing region management

Owners can select regions during onboarding to narrow the scope. If no region is chosen, the system scans all regions. Region management then allows adding, editing, or removing regions in scan profiles, with immediate scans for new regions.

Automated patch remediation that fits real workflows

Automated Patch Remediation lands as a headline feature in this release stream. Use it with CSRM’s planning and monitoring views to move faster from finding the problem to fixing it.

Intelligence and Feeds That Guide What to Fix

Release notes call out stronger misconfiguration detection, improvements to remediation workflows, and new or upgraded intelligence feeds that drive timely action.

Reports Teams Can Reuse at the Organization Level

Create unlimited custom report views, then share and reuse them without rework.

CIEM Visibility That Surfaces Excessive Permissions

The CIEM dashboard calls out over-privileged entities and policy details, giving owners a fast way to spot and adjust risky access.

What You Can Roll Out First

  • Use single page onboarding to set up a profile, then run a first scan in minutes.
  • Turn on credential validation to avoid failed scans.
  • Pilot rollback on a known change to build confidence in the workflow.

Everything You Need to Know About AI-Assisted Cyberattacks and How to Stop Them

AI has removed the skill barrier that used to keep amateurs out of serious cybercrime, letting first-time attackers pull off major breaches using chatbots and agentic AI tools. The blog covers the main attack types (AI phishing, deepfakes, AI-generated malware, agentic extortion) with 2025-2026 data, and argues that defense now depends on patching by actual exposure, not static severity scores, across both endpoints and cloud.
