“As an HR professional, the thing that excites me the most is helping people and making a positive impact on the workplace culture. Whether it’s supporting an employee’s career development or ensuring everyone feels valued and heard”

“How about ‘HR & Heartstrings’? A feel-good movie where the HR professional navigates workplace dynamics, helping employees grow in their careers while fostering a positive environment.”

“Definitely! Early in my HR career, I facilitated a conversation between two colleagues who had a misunderstanding. Helping them understand each other’s perspectives and find common ground was an eye-opening moment for me. I realized then that my role was about more than just policies—it was about people, and that felt incredibly rewarding.”

“It’s the variety and diversity of my daily tasks that truly excites me. As a customer-centric role, I never know what challenges or opportunities will arise, and that keeps me on my toes, always striving to give my best every single day.”

“Yes, there have been several moments that justify that I’m at the right place doing the right things. It’s those times when my answer or suggestion perfectly aligns with what someone needed, and I can feel the impact it has—it’s truly fulfilling.”

“Without a doubt, having amazing colleagues and a fun work culture.”

“Dil Chahta Hai” (Because just like friendships and adventures, a great job is about embracing the journey!)

“I believe it was when we migrated from a support-based model to a product company. The amount of learning that came with it was phenomenal, and it helped shape us not just professionally but personally too.”

d. What’s one thing your workplace offers that makes it enjoyable for you?
“Great colleagues. I often hear people say how rare it is to find true friends at work. I’ve been lucky to have people who genuinely care, support, and uplift each other. We spend most of our day working together, and having the privilege to laugh, cry, and share our lives with such amazing people is truly a blessing.”

“Be open to opportunities thrown your way and always give your best. You can’t know what you love unless you’ve explored different things. A lot of social media glorifies mediocrity, but we forget that we only have one life. Live it to the fullest and give 100% in whatever you do!”

“What’s that one thing I can do differently today?”

The virtual battlefield of stopping attacks – I felt like am in the army

“I can make time to go to the gym.” (Because a strong mind needs a strong body too! ?????)

f. What advice would you give to someone to ensure they love what they do? “Love is a form of madness. Only if you are mad about something can you truly love it. Else, it is just a compulsion.”

7. Abhipsa Mallick – Sr. UX Designer: The Creative Visionary

“Every day brings new challenges, new threats, new vulnerabilities, new technologies, and new puzzles to solve. It keeps the work dynamic and intellectually stimulating.”

“Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna” (Because great design is a love story that never ends! ?)

c. Was there a moment when you realized, ‘Yes, this is the right job for me’?
“When I saw our product for the first time while designing product screenshots. The complexity and depth of the UI/UX fascinated me. It made me more interested in cybersecurity as a domain, and I knew I wanted to work around a product that constantly evolves.”

d. What’s one thing your workplace offers that makes it enjoyable for you?
“The culture at SecPod is crazzzyyyyyy good! The level of understanding from my seniors, mentors, and especially my manager makes balancing work and personal life so much easier. It helps in prioritizing what truly matters.”

“Be constantly interested and motivated. Never be afraid to put out your thoughts, no matter how weird they are—who knows, you might just come up with the next best approach in whatever you are doing!”
