As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at SecPod Technologies, Inc., you will be responsible for creating and expanding our sales pipeline by identifying and connecting with potential customers. Your role will be critical in paving the way for our Sales team to engage and convert these prospects into valuable clients. Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Use various methods, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and research, to identify and generate new sales leads.
- Prospect Qualification: Qualify leads by conducting thorough research and initiating conversations to understand their needs, pain points, and potential fit with our products/services.
- Outreach and Engagement: Reach out to prospects via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to introduce our company, products/services, and value proposition.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for the Sales team with qualified leads to drive the sales process forward.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with Sales team members to provide them with valuable information and insights about prospects to enhance the sales process.
- CRM Management: Accurately document all interactions and lead information in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to tailor your approach effectively.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualification.
- Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback to the Sales and Marketing teams to help refine messaging and strategies for lead generation.
The Candidate
This is a critical function in the company and we are looking for the following skill sets:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and persistent.
- Ability to work
independently and as part of a team. - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in lead generation, telemarketing, or customer service is a plus
