Sales Engineer – Cybersecurity
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity Sales, specializing in Threat Management, Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving sales by providing technical expertise, demonstrating product capabilities, and working closely with C-level executives to deliver tailored security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing deep technical expertise on Threat Management, Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security, CNAPP, solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored cybersecurity solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and workshops for prospective clients.
- Engage with C-level executives to articulate cybersecurity risks, compliance requirements, and business value propositions.
- Lead discussions on cloud security strategies and best practices for securing cloud environments.
- Drive platform selling by positioning integrated cybersecurity solutions and demonstrating their long-term business value.
- Travel extensively to meet customers, conduct onsite assessments, and support sales engagements.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and enhance solution offerings.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, whitepapers, and RFP responses to address customer concerns.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, cloud security challenges, threats, and compliance regulations to provide expert-level guidance to clients.
The Candidate
This is a critical function in the company and we are looking for the following skill sets:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity Sales, preferably in a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales role.
- Strong knowledge of Threat Management, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, and related security solutions.
- Proven experience working with CISOs, CIOs, and other C-level executives in enterprise security sales.
- Expertise in cloud security frameworks, cloud service provider security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cloud compliance requirements.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in platform selling and positioning integrated security solutions to enterprise clients.
- Willingness to travel extensively to support sales engagements.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.) and compliance regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CCSK,CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CCSP, or AWS, Azure ,equivalent are a plus.
